Gucci’s new site.
Want to watch the latest Gucci fashion show live? Well, not really live but in real time, from your computer screen as it happens. Gucci Connect E-vent is inviting you to log-in and watch the show at the same time as fashion buyers and press do so at the seasonal fashion shows. Gucci will be launching what they are calling their digital flagship store- gucci.com on September 22. Yes it is their website but very much updated with more flash features.

Surrealistic shoes.
These fur-lined shoes from Celine’s Fall 2010 collection remind us of Swiss modern surrealist artist Meret Oppenheim‘s most famous fur-lined teacups. Except that these are function fashion pieces that, from the looks of it, will be sure to keep your feet warm in winter even if it seems to some a tad indulgent to walk in fur!

MiuMiu opens their new store with a new bag.
It seems that Pacific Place Mall’s renovation is coming to an end as more and more newly renovated stores are now re-opening. MiuMiu for one, previously located on the second floor in Pacific Place, is re-opening on the 3rd floor and shoppers can expect the new location to be bigger and better, carrying a wider selection of goods.

While some designers are still pushing the tough “rock chick” look, we’re quite relieved that EQ:IQ‘s Creative Director, Stephanie Stindel, has delivered a collection based on the effortless style of the Parisian woman – feminine and sophisticated with an edge.
This collection is made up of a mix of eclectic EQ:IQ pieces inspired by a few key themes. There’s the ‘impressionable prints’ of the Parisian life which translates into a pretty ‘Cloud’ print dress, vintage-inspired ‘Wallpaper’ print silk dress and red “Bisous’ lipstick kiss print that captures the romance and style that we know as just being quintessentially Parisian.
