Get ready for more comic book movies
There are some confessed comic book fans at Butterboom, and they are excited that two of the bigger U.S. comic book movies are coming to town quite quickly after their U.S. releases. Nicolas Cage’s skull-faced motorcyle hero Ghost Rider opened to US$45 million this weekend and opens in Hong Kong on March 8th.
The film most hard-core comic fans are looking forward to is 300 – the next graphic novel by Frank Miller to become a film (after Daredevil and Sin City) – its all about the Spartans in Ancient Rome and all shot on greenscreen. Get ready to line up for that on March 15th – a week after the US launch. Should be fun.
