Manga Movie Hits Hong Kong

Not all comic book movies are based on US Superheroes
While we look forward to comic books-turned-movies Ghost Rider and 300 next month, the stars of Dororo were in town yesterday to promote their movie based on the manga by Osamu Tezuka which is out in HK on March 15th. If you’ve seen Waterboys or Battle Royale you know the two leads and if you like samurai movies this one looks to be pretty cool. Dororo is a manga by the same guy who created Astro Boy and Blackjack and will have an art showing in Telford Plaza next month to promote the film. We’ll have a review for both next month.
Who thought that March would be such a great month for movies.
