I wonder for us who grew up on the american Version of GATCHAMAN if they would Call it by GForce (not to get consfused with that Disney film) and they use their American Names. I never heard of GATCHAMAN Don’t make fun of me please because of it. I just want the Gforce to be like the same GForce/Battle of the Planet we all grew up watching as a kid.

Ditto on most of the other posted comments! While I LOVE the original Godphoenix of the ’70s, it’s too simple and blocky for today’s older smarter Gatchaman fans; I like that they used the Godphoenix from the ’90s OAV. Like the new suits and can’t wait to see Galactor and Berg Katse?.. Solaris?.. Zoltar? (Hope they go with Zoltar!)

I also grew on G-Force/Battle of the planets. I loved it as a kid until I saw Gotchaman! I didn’t realize how much of the action and violence was “adjusted” for american youth consumption. Can’t wait to seee what they do with it.

I like the new look. I grew up with Battle of the Planets, too. I knew some of the scenes were not like the rest, but I didn’t know why. Now I do. I like Gatchaman better. When I watch BotP I fast forward the parts with Zark. He’s way too annoying.
