The Venetian is bringing in the talent to entertain you.

Want to go to Macau, but don’t gamble? Looks like The Venetian Macao is starting up their Las Vegas-style idea machine and bringing in entertainment to Macau.

On sale in 45 minutes are tickets to see tennis superstars Pete Sampras and Roger Federer slap the yellow fuzzy ball around on November 24 at the brand new Venetian Macao. Tickets are MOP120-150, book online here or call them at 853-2882-8818.

This is the kind of stuff that needs to come to Macau to get us non-gamers into the city for something besides eating. The Sands‘ owner Sheldon Adelson is the visionary behind The Sands and The Venetian and it’s interesting to see that at 74 he is doing what he did in Vegas all over again in Macau. And with all the problems that Macau’s chief executive is having these days, its good to see that corruption still can’t beat out old-fashioned know-how.
