It’s Here: H&M Opens in Hong Kong
Biggest promotional retail store opening ever!

We’ve been counting down to March 10th for quite a few weeks here at Butterboom and now the event of the year is finally here. H&M opened its doors to huge crowds this past Saturday and we were there to capture photos for the rest of the world to see.
No autographed Madonna clothes but there were 500 pairs of sunglasses given to the first to crack through the door. The security people were able to keep the people in line and a quick stream through the stores on Saturday and Sunday.
Here are a bunch of photos from Queen’s Road Central at around 1pm on Saturday and shots from the Central MTR on the same say that has been turned into a massive H&M ad. Not since maybe the opening of Planet Hollywood in Hong Kong over 10 years ago can we remember there being a massive opening of a retail establishment in Hong Kong that had so many people talking.
