Another photo hits Hong Kong and turns the city upside down.

Another sexy photo has turned up in the Hong Kong press, this time “reportedly” of Cecilia Cheung (張栢芝) - the wife of Nicholas Tse and the mother of his baby. Maybe we were a bit too quick to label these fakes, as this starts to get out of control with this shocking pose and we’re betting more of them are going to turn up before next week’s Chinese New Year holiday.

The new theory is that Edison Chen took his PC to get repaired and someone there grabbed the photos off the hard disk drive! If this is true this can be easily back traced to the culprit in short time.

Watch out Paris, Hong Kong celebs will beat you at your own game! More as this develops!

UPDATE 1 FEB: Wow, this is big news, eh? Edison’s face is on every single newspaper and magazine around Hong Kong. We hear he’s in Vancouver right now to escape the publicity. But we saw his smiling mug all over the Causeway Bay MTR promoting EPS!

As of today, its seems the cops have caught the 29-year old New Territories guy who’s been sending these photos online. Is he really the culprit, or just a patsy?  The cops did find 12 new unpublished photos on this guy’s computer so this may be it!

What really gets us is that the Hong Kong Police think they can get the photos off the internet by calling a few ISP’s:

Responding to media questions, Yam said they were still trying to determine whether the pictures were real or fakes. He said if the pictures were found in servers overseas, they would call on international enforcement agencies to get involved and contact the relevant service providers. 

OK we’ll continue to follow this exciting and illicit celebrity scandal in the coming days since it seems so many of our readers want to see what happens next.

The biggest Hong Kong entertainment story of the year.

By now if you have eyes and ears or just an internet connection you’ve read/seen/experienced one of the biggest sex photo scandals in Hong Kong starring actor/singer/clothing designer Edison Chen (陳冠希) and Twins star Gillian Chung (鍾欣桐). Our take: the photos are fake! We’ve seen tons of these with American celebs to know when it’s been faked. All we can say is that we are finally seeing some local talent in Photoshop, unfortunately its for breaking the law, but hey, what else were you going to talk about during Chinese New Year anyway?

UPDATE 1 FEB: OK we know when we’re wrong, we’re 98% sure these photos are real now and that our buddy Edison must have forgot he had them on his pink MacBook when he took it into the shop to get fixed.

For those of you reading this not from Hong Kong, Taiwan or China - Edison is like our Justin Timberlake and Gillian is like our Mandy Moore. So imagine what would happen if photos like these leaked out in the U.S. And we now know these weren’t used for blackmail so we’re still awaiting more news.

It’s like a G-rated Sex and the City, but it’ll do.

Missing Sex and the City like the rest of us? Well until the movie comes out in a few months, there is a new show called Cashmere Mafia starring Charlie’s Angels star Lucy Liu and 3 other power-ladies in a show that is basically a watered-down version of Sex and the City but this time its NOT on HBO and therefore not as funny or sexy, and is also 30 minutes longer.

We’ve been able to catch this show from a friend who gets them via specialized technical channels, and don’t know if it’s coming to Hong Kong as of this writing. But if you care to watch 9-minutes of it below:

The 4 main leads deal with love and life and business all in New York City (again?) at least the 4 characters are not exact mirrors of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha; and in ways the cast are much better actors, but without the kinkiness you get from R-rated TV on HBO it just seems a bit too fake and perfect to bring down Sex and the City from the throne, but worth a watch if you are over 30.
