Since typhoon season has started early this year, and it’s almost Mother’s Day, and everyone loves chocolate (?!) Times Square has put together this sensible promotion.

Get yourself over to Hong Kong side, taxi it over to Causeway Bay and spend HK$800 or more in a single day at any shop at Times Square or in the Food Forum (bring the whole family) and you can get one of these Prudence Mak designed Chocolate Rain umbrellas for free and inside is a small “Fatina” doll to keep you smiling while buckets of real typhoon rain bombard you.

Promotion starts May 11th and runs until stocks last.

And the name of this character has got us thinking about the YouTube sensation Tay Zonday who sang that multi-million viewed hit song “Chocolate Rain” who also went on to 15-minutes of fame and fortune in the U.S. with Dr. Pepper, as seen below:

What the –? Cherry and Chocolate flavored Dr. Pepper? What’s next? Pistachio and Guacamole flavored Mountain Dew?
