Replay Fall/Winter Hong Kong Collection

The American Mid-West is the theme for Replay’s Fall collection.

Replay has sent us a few pieces from their Fall/Winter collection due out in Hong Kong at the end of July.

The woman’s collection looks to the world of country and is reworked in a contemporary style. This is a version suitable for urban women who nevertheless like folk touches for a more romantic look. There is a definite fusion of styles working here: hippie, art deco, the Bauhaus graphic experiments and a jazz style.

The handcrafted leather is also metallic; inlaid and washed, it is reminiscent of American Indian costumes. Western and Sioux touches also in the details of some of the luxe jeans or leather ruffle trims imitating certain Florentine craft products with an eye to the great American West, work clothes transformed into prêt-à-porter.

The Replay Fall/Winter 2008 collection is available next week in Hong Kong.

Does anyone know if the clothing label ‘Modern Amusement’ is in Hong Kong. We have a small selection in Sydney & I’m coming to HK next week 6th August & would like to know?

Also where do you find good coffee, does it exist in HK? I’m not talking starbucks.
