Luxury Week Day 4: Oscar de la Renta

‘Grand’ is the word in mind to describe the Oscar de la Renta show.

We’re counting down to the final day of the Mastercard Luxury Week Hong Kong 2008 with SportMax, Donna Karan and Oscar de la Renta filling out the shows on Friday.

Oscar de la Renta famous for designing elegant clothing like the classic cocktail dress and beautiful ball gowns is truly a master in his class. The preciseness in cut and silhouette on the full flowy gowns in luxurious jewel tone silk and layers of champagne tulle were simply beautiful. There were many show stopping moments when the gowns made their presence. The bright blue ruffled gown and jeweled embroidery champagne tulle gown worn under a bronze sherling were absolutely stunning.

For day wear, Oscar de la Renta, shows off beautifully sculpted cocktail dresses and full skirts paired with shaped cashmere and knitted tops in fall colours - amethyst purple and emerald green. There was so many pieces to covet, the high waist full-leg trousers in black and jewel tone, red ruffle silk top knee-length skirts.
