YSL’s new Edition Unisex collection debuts at pop-up boutique in Central.
The YSL’s Edition Unisex collection is a capsule collection that blurs the line between genders. Yves Saint Laurent has long pioneered the minimalist, androgynous look for women. Who can forget YSL’s Le Smoking tuxedo suit which paved the way for power suits and pants suit that forever changing the way women dressed. Stefano Pilati is updating YSL’s legacy with this collection consisting of re-engineered pieces from YSL‘s men spring/summer 09 collection to fit the female form. Take a look at the outfits below before heading on down to the pop-up boutique this weekend onwards.
This collection will be showcased for 1 week only at their pop-up boutique at Madhouse Contemporary gallery. This is the last leg of the Edition Unisex pop-up boutique tour which kicked off during the New York Fashion week having traveled from Milan, Paris, London before ending up here in Hong Kong.
4 of Hong Kong’s most prominent photographers — Wing Shya, Rensis Ho, Elaine Liu and Roy Lee have created work that are inspired by this concept and work by prominent authors Chan Koon Chung (陳冠中), Peter Tunn (鄧小宇) and Francine from the 1980s. They will be on display at the pop-up boutique for viewing.
