Chanel has always been known to push the envelope when it comes to design. Every season, we all get a taste of fine and finer things, dreamt up in ways only Karl Lagerfeld can.

This season, Karl Lagerfeld has taken the ordinary pump and jazzed it up Chanel-style. Duchess satin meets patent leather in a two-tone, gorgeous looking pumps lined with pearls on the platform and back heel.

Kierra Knightley apparently adores her Chanel Pearl Pumps, having been seen in them during the Chanel Spring 2009 Haute-Couture show in Paris and then at the Berlin International Film Festival.

The pearl shoes costs $HK 8500 a pair and are sold in select Chanel stores worldwide.
