Bottega Veneta’s Embroidered Bag
The Bottega Veneta’s 2010 cruise collection feature lots of bright colours and exotic skins.

At the recent sneak preview of the Bottega Veneta 2010 Cruise Collection held at The Landmark boutique in Central last week, Thomas Maier shows a very optimistic Cruise collection for 2010. The collection features lots of beautiful bright colours from pleated dresses to acrylic accessories that makes a bold statement.
The bags, though are always the highlight at Bottega Vaneta. There were Bottega’s intrecciato wooven bags in different shapes and hues but the Embroidered Bag is something we haven’t seen before from Bottega Veneta. The Embroidered Bag’s pleats are created with a new technique called embroidery and draping, where each bag mixes approximately three to four different types of materials including nappa, capretto, Vitellino Lisse and tiger snake, all pleated to form a gorgeous geometric design. It seems Tomas Maier, is increasingly unafraid to push the boundaries of creativity and we are glad to see his beautiful creations.

We love that this bag is medium in size making it big enough to carry around throughout the day, and still look graceful carrying it under your arm at night. The bag comes in four colors: Esperanze (green), Poupre (red), Gladiola (brown) and Anemone (purple).
