Christian Dior Spring 2010 Ready-To-Wear
John Galliano Spring Seduction.

It doesn’t take a genuis to see that Chrstian Dior’s Spring 2010 collection is inspired by an old world beauty. Designer John Galliano was in fact vocal about having Lauren Bacall serve as the collection’s muse – very much present in the crimped hair, matte red lips and, of course, the sultry silhouettes that came out in abundance.
Galliano really amped up the sex appeal on this one, with sheer layers and extensive lingerie references. We saw loads of slip dresses in silky greys, pinks and purples and, to add to the boudoir feeling, copious amounts of lace were used, layered on top of one another for a sexy feel. To finish off the “rendezvous ce soir” vibe, looks were topped off with image-provoking trench coats of various lengths and finishes. Oo la la!
