Introducing the late great’s Plato’s Atlantis Spring/Summer 2010 Collection.

Alexander McQueen will always be remembered as a designer who wasn’t afraid to take chances, a gamble which single-handedly helped him to change the modern fashion landscape as we know it.
His last and most memorable Spring/Summer 2010 collection has been communicated through a futuristic formula full of aquatic creatures and computer-generated couture art. Titled Plato’s Atlantis , the collection comprises brightly coloured prints inspired by butterflies, moths, beetles and giant squid – engineered sea-reptile prints and designs that mimick the skin of sharks and dolphins.

At the New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on February 12, 2010, one of the world’s original supermodels, Ms.Campbell, held “Fashion for Relief” to raise funds for Haiti’s earthquake victims – featuring clothes by some of the world’s most renowned designers including Versace, Burberry, Jean Paul Gaultier, Louis Vuitton, Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, Carolina Herrera, Vivienne Westwood, Gucci, Christian Dior, Roberto Cavalli, Manolo Blahnik and the late Alexander McQueen.

Frederic Malle talks about Editions de Parfums in Hong Kong.

Frederic Malle has workd with some of the most prestigious perfumers or ‘noses’ in the industry and is the man behind Edition de Parfums.
In June 2000, Frederic started Edition de Parfums, an original proposition in the already crowded fragrance industry where every brand and celebrity seem to have their own scent. Edition de Perfums consider itself more of a ‘perfume publishing house’ where exclusive, creative fragrances composed by the world’s greatest ‘noses’ create their own signature fragrances and sells them under their own names. The result is a range of entirely original fragrances that reflects exactly what the perfumer wants to bring to market. We caught up with Frederic for a little Q&A session..

Homage to the 10 best yoga poses so far. Can you do better?

Pure Yoga is half-way through the Pure Yoga Takes Me Here photo competition and judging from what we’ve seen so far, there are some amazing poses taken with gorgeous backdrops.
If you think you’ve got a great yoga pose photo, show it off and win some great prizes. The competition is on until April 12th and is open to Pure and non-Pure yoga members. The grand prize will please yoga practitioners and budding photographers alike: a Canon Powershot SX1 plus a 12-month Pure Yoga contract and 4-day pass to Evolution Asia Yoga Conference.
