New boutique hotel opens in Taipei.
Located in a quiet part of the Da-An district, Hotel Éclat – which opened last month by Hong Kong entrepreneur George Wong who also owns Hong Kong Parkview – is a little 60-room luxury boutique hotel that is the height of fashion. Furnished with George’s personal art and furniture collection including two Salvador Dali sculptures, Charles Robertson of LKF Designers was responsible for the interior design whose other projects have included the Four Seasons Shanghai.

Rooms feature luxurious touches like super expensive Hasten bedd from Sweden, Murano glass sculptures(suite rooms), original artwork by contemporary Chinese artist Tang Yuen Hei, glass walls that can be frosted or defrosted to partition off areas, and Ferragamo toiletries.
