For other designers, Fall is all about warm, toasty colours but not for Japanese brand, Y’s. Y’s is simply not afraid to go graphic, offering an assortment of pieces in white, black, navy or slate gray and focusing on the voluminous silhouette so popular in the ’80s with a play on workwear and many fun twists. Also incorporated into the collection are lightweight raincoats in all sorts of fabrics, while splashes of red, yellow and orange brighten up the traditionally graphic pieces.

Hotel Rooms: Seven Stars Galleria, Milan

The Seven Stars Galleria hotel is located in the heart of the city of Milan and is considered the jewel in the crown of Italy’s fashion capital city. The hotel resides in the historical Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, built in 1876 between Piazza Duomo, the city’s famous cathedral, and Piazza della Scalla, temple of music and opera. The building is an historical monument, a Belle Epoque construction that features amazing architectural details like handpainted ceilings, large shuttered windows, mosaic floors and elaborately carved stone.
