Michelle Yeoh, The New Face of Guerlain
Hong Kong-based actress is French company’s latest skincare Ambassador.
Michelle Yeoh, the Malaysian-born Hong Kong-based actress, has been named as the latest Ambassador for French luxury cosmetics house, Guerlain.
Yeoh’s appointment is part of LVMH-owned Guerlain’s move to strengthen its position in the Asian market, with chief executive Laurent Boillot commenting; “Michelle will be our guide to introduce our Asian clients to the enchanted world of our perfume creations.”
The former Bond girl and star of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is expected to be the face of Guerlain’s Orchidée Impériale line in Asia. The luxurious skincare range – consisting of serums and face, eye and lip creams – utilises a special molecular extract from orchid flowers with anti-ageing, smoothing and brightening properties.
Yeoh’s new role at the age of 49 should go down well with the more mature make-up buyer, and it’s great to see another Asian face score a mainstream campaign for the major beauty houses – long may this trend continue!

[...] Other websites are reporting that in addition to (or perhaps instead of?) fronting a new Guerlain fragrance, Ms. Yeoh will be the face of the brand’s Orchidée Impériale skincare line in Asia. [...]
