Gucci’s Resort 2012 combines sleek lines, vivid colors and structure to create a collection that stands as a salute to utilitarianism. The geometric silhouette consists of tight skirts that hit just above the knee, perfectly cropped capri pants, and gold pleated miniskirts kept in balance by double-breasted masculine jackets. The color blocking apparent throughout the collection sees panels of neon, purple, red and gold contrasted against summer white canvases.
