Dolce & Gabbana has been playing the sexy game since forever so it’s no surprise that they’re damn good at it. This season’s eyewear collection focuses on the mix and matching of different materials and patterns – a concept they hold true to their DNA. And what better pattern to play with then that which represents them best, Sicilian lace. This season they present two models both with sinuous shapes and available in what seems like endless combinations of colors and prints.
We continue to have our minds blown by the innovation and craftsmanship that goes into their lace sunglasses, where real lace is inserted between two layers of acetate plastic. Mixed with other iconic Dolce prints such as leopard and polka dot, the Spring Summer 2012 eyewear collection serves up classics with a twist.
