Manolo Blahnik In Hong Kong Tomorrow
All hail the shoe king.
Thanks to his to-die-for shoes and shout-outs from Carrie Bradshaw, Manolo Blahnik has easily become a household name, so it should come as no surprise then that Lane Crawford has invited the famed shoe designer to Hong Kong for a series of events in honor of the man himself.
It seems that Manolo is rather low profile so this is a rare treat for Hong Kong’s shoe lovers.
The first of such events includes an exhibition held at the atrium of Lane Crawford IFC from February 2 to 19. The space consists of an intriguing edit of his personal possessions, inspirational pieces and an archive shoe collection of 10 vintage Blahnik styles that will be re-launched and sold exclusively at Lane Crawford.
Manolo Blahnik worked with a variety of luxury global brands to come up with the collaboration items. Worth checking out are the beautiful soft leather gloves by century-old French glove label, Causse Gantier, Manolo’s personal favourites from Fortum & Mason and a limited edition striped luggage collection by Globe-Trotter.
