The Calming Hydrating Massage at Plateau

We’ve recently tested out the ‘Calming Hydrating Massage’ at Plateau, the spa at Grand Hyatt and want to report back to you on how it went.
Plateau is an oasis of calm in the middle of Hong Kong with its beautifully landscaped garden and pool you can dip in all year round. (its heated at 24 degrees celsius). The spa has 23 spa residential rooms that are all decked out with blond wood, black marble and minimalist furniture to create a zen like calming atmosphere.
All the rooms are spacious and feature a huge dressing room area, your own showers and depending if you are staying overnight, the overnight room comes with a futon bed.
Our therapist May, explained the message and product she is using and proceed to knead away the knots of our tired muscles. There’s something about the soothing strokes and warm heated bed that lulls you into a state of surrender and relaxation. The ‘Calming Hydrating Massage’ uses cucumber green tea massage create from June Jacobs to restore skin suppleness and boast blood circulation.
After the massage, freshly brewed tea is served with some fruits and by the time you walk out the spa, you are completely relaxed and recharged.
There are plenty of massage treatments at Plateau and depending on how much time you have to indulge,there are 2 hours, 3 hours, half day and full day programs to pamper any stressed out city dweller into a state of zen like bliss.
