Slip Into a Lagoon with Van Cleef & Arpel Aqua Oriens
A limited edition fragrance from the Paris-based jeweler.
There’s nothing like the scent of sweet paradise in summer and Van Cleef & Arpels limited edition perfume promises just that. Aptly named Aqua Oriens, the perfume’s most obvious notes is that of Tahiti lime and juicy pear – sweet and reminiscent of your favorite drinks by the beach.
Combine that with fragrant drops of honey and orange blossoms and you get a lingering scent of musky notes with a touch of amber.
The bottle clearly references the fine jewelry typical of Van Cleef & Arpels, with the top inspired by one of their own gem stone rings. A turquoise jewel held in metal claws sits on top of a tinted sea-green bottle. The shiny shades of aquamarines, sapphires and emeralds are enough to sell us on the promise of an intoxicating blue lagoon.
