Moschino and altreforme Presents a Harlequin Collection
A unique furniture collection with a comical edge.
Moschino calls upon the expertise of altreforme to create a collection of one-of-a-kind furniture inspired by the comical Italian Harlequin masks. Based upon a fundamental relationship between design and fashion the collection features a series of furniture made entirely of aluminum, while incorporating altreforme’s painstaking “made in Italy” process.
The Harlequin masks have been a key influence throughout Moschino’s history and when applied to furniture, you get a collection of bold colored pieces that are as quirky as they are lively. The one=off collection includes a Harlequin collars shaped table, a mask chair, glove mirror and boxes customized with prints from the Moschino archives. The collection was introduced at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan earlier last month.
