Le French May Presents “An Ode to the Complexion” Exhibition

Beauty objects, cosmetics history and more. 

Hong Kong’s annual French arts festival, Le French May, now in its 20^th edition, presents “An Ode to the Complexion” exhibition beginning 23 May to 5 June at Garden Court, Pacific Place. This free exhibition, sponsored by Guerlain, is curated by Anne Camilli and Jean-Marie Martin-Hattemberg. 

An interesting bit is you can examine a private collection of beauty objects from a French collector. And while you’re at it, get acquainted with the history behind the cosmetics industry in the West from the 18^th Century to the present, and learn how some skincare and makeup products attain their iconic status. The exhibition also showcases Guerlain’s expertise and dedication in science and research.
