Bulgari’s New Monete Jewellery Collection
A tribute to relics of our past.
If there’s one thing Bulgari knows, it’s Italian fine jewellery. Presenting their new Monete jewellery collection, Bulgari revisits the motif of ancient coins and jewels, referred to by the Italian brand as “objets d’art”. In a 1982 interview, Nicola Bulgari explains “to these ancient coins, relics of the past, we offer a second chance at life: rather than closing them in a drawer, we transform them into living things”, exemplified by this very collection.
Ancient silver coins combined with mother-of-pearl and diamond pavé details make for a composition of soft forms and warm tones. Our favorite is the single coin pendent necklace – a simple yet elegant interpretation of what was and remains.
