Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura

A cosmetic collection for the holiday season.

Japanese makeup brand shu uemura and fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld has announced their collaboration on a special holiday collection, simply named Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura.

Truth is, Lagerfeld has been using Shu Uemura eyeshadows to illustrate his sketches for twenty years, explaining that “other manufacturers do not offer such beautiful colors.” Full details on the collection are not available at this point but what we do know is that the Chanel creative director is working on the cosmetic colors and packaging. Already, the man of many hats has shot the ad campaign.

Karl Lagerfeld for shu uemura is set to launch globally end October/November 2012. Well, we can’t wait!
