In case you haven’t heard, French cosmetic retail chain < strong> Sephora which is part of the LVMH group has decided to withdraw from the Hong Kong market at the end of this month.
We reported on the launch of Hong Kong’s very first Sephora retail outlet in Mong Kok back on September 25, 2008 when it seemed as if every comestic retailer was coming to Hong Kong to battle it out….however, now, after a little less than a year and a half, Sephora is closing up shop due to “a strategic decision from France.”
