Kanchan Couture shows fall collection at DNM October 9.
Kanchan Couture founded by designer Kanchan Suresh Panjabi or “Kanch” is one of the new designers you can expect to find at hip Delay No Mall in Causeway Bay. We like the vibrant bold colour silk she uses for her very luxurious looking tops and volumious skirts.
Debuting her fall collection tonight in Hong Kong at DNM (where she will also be appearing in person) Kanch’s clothes are about modernizing classic shapes using luxurious Indian textiles.

The new 1063 square feet Paul Smith shop at Lee Gardens will carry both men and women collections from the Paul Smith line, London Collection, Black Label collection and accessories.
From the looks of it, this will be Paul Smith lifestyle store with the exterior of the shop’s steel uprights painted in Paul Smith’s primary colours. The steel stick lights are pretty cool giving the store a modern and and relaxed atmosphere. Old antique furniture sourced from Europe are set against a clean white polished interior backdrop on old reclaimed wood block floor panels.

Daring new art exhibit stomps into Causeway Bay.
Wow! We saw this exhibition the other day at Times Square in Causeway Bay and applaud the management for going such an avant garde artist to display in light of the Olympic games - we were really expecting a bunch of lame horse art, but kudos to the TS people to exhibit the New Disco-bolus, a giant rusted Mao-jacket and a huge red dinosaur in a cage - and that’s just in the piazza. The exhibition is on until August 19th.
And if you act fast, you can take a piece of this art home with you in the form of these cool limited edition “New Disco-bolus” graphic T-shirts! To get one all you have to do is donate HK$40 or above to the Community Chest, you can get one T-shirt for free. First come first served, available while stock lasts.
