Dior’s first collection at the hands of Raf Simons.
All eyes were on the Paris catwalks last year, waiting to see how Raf Simons‘ first ready-to-wear collection as Creative Director at Dior would turn out. His minimal, sensual return to the original codes of the house of Dior did not disappoint with a collection that was elegant, effortlessly feminine and wearable, just as Christian Dior himself would have wanted.

JOYCE has teamed up with Dior to present its Spring Summer 2013 ready-to-wear collection, the first under Creative Director Raf Simons. Alongside key looks from the collection, including Simons’ reworking of Dior’s classic Bar jacket, are five exclusive pieces created to celebrate this collaboration.

Always one to break the mould, Dior has collaborated with German conceptual artist Anselm Relye to work on an exclusive line of accessories guaranteed to blow your mind. Available in Dior boutiques beginning in January of next year, the one-off range of bags, wedges and scarves will include classics such as Cannage Lady Dior and Miss Dior bags reinterpreted in Reyle’s artistic style.
Lots of speculation as to whether Marc Jacobs will make the cut.
We’re watching with bated breath to see who will be the next Creative Director at Dior after John Galliano’s embarrassing dismissal in March 2011. Some of the names that have been flying around include Marc Jacobs, Riccardi Tisci, Raf Simons, Alexander Wang and Jason Wu.
