French favourite Chloe opens new store in Central.
The ultra-chic Parisian brand has opened doors to their newest boutique on level 2 at IFC mall. Just around the corner from Kate Spade NY and Alfred Dunhill, this is the fourth Chloe store in Hong Kong. Housing everything from womenswear to handbags, shoes, leather goods, accessories and fragrance, you can also find the new Spring/Summer 2013 ready-to-wear and Christmas special 2012 mini-handbag collection.

Parisian chic moves in to the IFC.

MAJE, a popular Parisian fashion brand is opening their first Asian flagship store at IFC mall next week. MAJE is known for its Parisian chic designs and is the brain-child of French designer Judith Milgrom. She opened her first store in only 2008 and has since captured the hearts of many, with over 200 fashion outlets around the world. We can’t wait and have featured Maje as one of the brands to shop when in Paris.

The Rodarte sisters took this trend to the max with mega high shine dynamite platforms. Whereas Marc Jacobs had a more demure space-age motif going on with silver accented pointed mules at Louis Vuitton. City chic was what Tomas Maier had in mind for Bottega Vaneta and flat strappy sandals felt just right with the aquatic theme at Chanel.

A tribute to relics of our past.
If there’s one thing Bulgari knows, it’s Italian fine jewellery. Presenting their new Monete jewellery collection, Bulgari revisits the motif of ancient coins and jewels, referred to by the Italian brand as “objets d’art”. In a 1982 interview, Nicola Bulgari explains “to these ancient coins, relics of the past, we offer a second chance at life: rather than closing them in a drawer, we transform them into living things”, exemplified by this very collection.

With ultra-resotorative and multi-active properties, it aims to prevent discomfort while erasing signs of ageing and evidence of any late nighters. Despite its fancy sounding ingredients such as Rejuvenating Peptide Complex (softens wrinkles), Sensorphine (soothes the skin) and Vitamin PP, we were sold on the words “Paraben-free” and “balm”. An eye cream with a gel-like texture and no preservatives? Yes please.
