Spain’s biggest star to be the face of the Spanish luxury brand.
Penelope Cruz has just been announced as the new face of Spanish luxury leather brand, Loewe. The Oscar winning actress, and one of Spain’s biggest exports, will star in her first campaign early next year and will represent the brand for three years.
The Spanish star is seen sporting a Spanish brand.
Hollywood star, Penelope Cruz, was seen leaving Paris carrying the uber practical and stylish Flamenco bag from Madrid based designer Loewe. The actress was with her family on the promotional tour for her husband Javier Bardem‘s latest flick, the new James Bond thriller Skyfall.

Spanish brand Loewe brings a touch of Spain to The Landmark.
Loewe celebrates the launch of the Granada Bag in Hong Kong with a little exhibition in The Landmark Atrium. Inspired by the ancient 15th Alhamra Palace during his recent visit to Spain, Creative Director Stuart Vevers created the Granada bag. The Andalusian architecture with its the interplay between indoors and outdoors, geometry and sensuality, richness and austerity is seen in the the beautiful exterior of the bag and the hidden stiching create the Granada bag for Loewe. He also created a little Andalusian gazebo around the Landmark Atrium’s fountain to bring a bit of Spain to Hong Kong for the exhibition.

Loewe‘s Flamenco made its debut back in 1984 and, just last year, creative directorStuart Vevers decided to bring back an fresh, updated version of the classic bag. Made from Loewe’s signature material of soft napa leather, the Flamenco is a fun bag whose leather draw string creates a playful bit of ruffle and scrutch effect at the opening.

Loewe has launched its an aptly named Cherry Blossom –a limited-edition collection of leather goods just in time for cherry blossom season, taking inspiration from the beautiful spring flowers. UK photographer Nigel Shafran has created a series of playful, sakura-themed campaign images, which we had the chance to see firsthand at the launch.
