New Creative Director at Loewe

Stuart Vevers is now leading the look for Loewe.

If you’ve started to noticed that Loewe‘s bag looks a little big different, sense of boldness in shapes, use of brighter colours, you’ve probably reacting to the work of Loewe’s new creative director, Stuart Vevers.

At 34, Stuart is a bit of a veteran when it comes to designing bags, he’s started his career with Calvin Klein, was hand picked by Laura Moltedo, founder of Bottega Veneta and was part of the team that reinvigorate the brand, collaborated with Luella Bartley to design the “Gisele’ bag and then went to Givenchy to create the famous “Macrame” bag. More recently, before being poached by Loewe, he was at Mulberry. Did we mention that he was named the Accessories Designer of the Year 2006 at the British Fashion Awards.

We would say, this will be the label to watch for bags. Check out the Calle bag in butter and Amazona in dark green crocodile skin now available in Hong Kong.

New Loewe Fragance Does the Cha-Cha

Challenge your object of seduction with Quizás, Quizás, Quizás.

Launching in February is Loewe’s newest fragrance called Quizás, Quizás, Quizás. Inspired by Cuba’s Oswaldo Farras’s the famous cha cha dancer “Quizás, Quizás, Quizásâ€. And we couldn’t even come up with some of these adjectives so we’ll let Loewe explain how it smells:
