November 12th marks the release of Louis Vuitton‘s first ever ready-to-wear television commercial featuring model Arizona Muse. The film signifies a new chapter of communication for the French fashion giant.
Photographer and director duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin created the commercial, which follows Muse as she ventures into one of the world’s most iconic museums, the Louvre. The story is one of travel, both physically and metaphoically, and invites the viewer to become master of their own destiny.
The Louis Vuitton Express is theme of the famous brand’s show-stopping fall/winter 2012 collection staged during Paris Fashion Week. Keeping in the brand’s tradition of luxury travel, the Louis Vuitton Express show captures the golden age and romance of train travel of the past. This is the second time the brand has ever restaged its Paris Fashion Week show outside of Paris, the first was in Tokyo.
