Louis Vuitton adds Hong Kong/Macau to their collection of luxury city guides.
As a brand that exists synonymously with luxury travel, Louis Vuitton has launched their first Hong Kong/Macau City Guide. To celebrate, guests were invited to an exclusive cocktail party last week at The Landmark Maison, including Brandon Chau, Olivia Davies, Hiliary Tsui, Jocelyn and Anthony Sandstorm, Ana R and Mira Yeh.

Louis Vuitton opened their first Island Maison at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. This one-of-a-kind concept store is quite a landmark on the waterfront of Marina Bay and features nautical-inspired interiors exclusively designed by award-winning architect Peter Marino.

After months of speculation, Angelina Jolie’s Louis Vuitton campaign is finally here – and is it any surprise that she looks stunning?
Shot barefoot, in her own clothes and on-location in her much-beloved Cambodia (from where she adopted son Maddox), Jolie is the latest ‘real person’ to feature in Louis Vuitton’s Core Values campaign. These feature personalities rather than models showcasing Vuitton classics in international locations (previous faces have included Sean Connery, Bono and Sofia Coppola.) The monogrammed Alto bag shown is Jolie’s own and is over six years old, showing just how durable and timeless an LV piece can be.

Angelina Jolie has just signed a deal said to be worth US$10 million to be the face of Louis Vuitton for a print-only global ad campaign coming up for Summer 2011. (E!online) This will be the highest paid contract for a single ad campaign ever by a celebrity. All we can say is SMOKIN!

Save for Louis Vuitton’s collaboration with Sophia Coppola, the brand has been a little lacking in black bags. After seasons of loose, boxy dresses, Louis Vuitton has finally had enough. The brand, through the direction of Marc Jacobs, is showing silhouettes that embrace curves with lots of volume through full skirts and ball dresses that emphasize the waist.
