An eye for an eye.

Emphasis Jewellery presents an interesting addition to their Token of Love collection, a tribute to the miracle of vision. Based on the idea that your eyes are the windows to your soul, the collection consists of orb shaped pendants accentuated by diamonds and encased in removable delicate frames of 18k gold. One particular design presents an orb etched with lines radiating outwards from a centre diamond, meant to resemble an all-seeing eye.

Dip your heels into the floral motif for Spring/ Summer 2012.

Peter Pilotto had futuristic plexi-heels with plastic daffodils in bright colours. The romantic aesthetics at Alexander McQueen never disappoints. We saw a digital illusion at Preen with pixelated prints and a mix of daises and paisley. Wild embellishments aside, Giambattista Valli had brocade of intricate hydrangea on sandals with a chainmail like ankle strap.

A three-part fashion exhibition at Pacific Place.

Trilogies are often associated with movies whereby after the second one you don’t see why they’re still going. This summer, Pacific Place lends the concept of a trilogy to fashion by presenting a three-week fashion exhibition starting from April 19th. By collaborating with three international brands, Diane Von Furstenberg, Chloé and Versace, each week the Garden Court will be transformed into a spectacle to highlight the different themes encompassed by each brand.

British brand set to move into bigger space in February 2012.

We’ve long known about Seibu in Pacific Place closing to make room for Harvey Nichols… and it looks like one mall isn’t big enough for two luxury department stores! Pacific Place’s Lane Crawford is set to close in February 2012, and a massive Burberry store will be taking its place.
