It seemed extremely fitting that Chopard’s newest scent, Cascade, was unveiled at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. After all, creators of the intoxicating perfume credit much of the inspiration from the glamorous world of movie stars and the red carpet.
Cascade is a combination of sweet and sexy with the Belle De Nuit flower taking center stage. Complementing the exquisite bloom is an exotic mix of pink pepper, orchid, grapefruit blossom, juicy mandarin and undertones of musk, woody accords and amber. The resulting aroma leaves one intrigued and wanting for more.
If you’re looking to find a new more intense perfume, you may want to check out Bulgari’s new scent, Jasmin Noir. Made by Carlos Benaїm and Sophie Labbé, Jasmin Noir is aimed at those looking for more unique and sophisticated scent.
Inspired by the smell of jasmine from his younger days in Morocco, Carlos wanted to give the scent more depth and character. The result is a scent that combines the heady sensual notes of jasmine, gardenia and lotus flower with warm and seductive darker notes of precious wood, musk and licorice.
Dior launches their new eau de toilette, Addict 2 and Addict Shine today. Inspired by Dior’s 2008 cruise colection where paisley prints were featured, John Galiano has decided to extend this concept into their frangrances range.
Dior Addict 2 begins with a citrus tone comprised of bittersweet grapefruit and bergamot, which leads to an ultra-feminine escape of freesia, lily-of-the-valley, and lotus blossom. The scent slowly mellows to a base of white musk and sandalwood.
Addict Shine is similar with fruit and floral essences and features notes of gardenia and base of ceder.
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Pour Femme is inspired by the sun-drenched summer days and nights of the Mediterranean. This colourful, fresh, floral-fruity scent hints of the sultry, balmy night of the Mediterranean.
