Shanghai Tang’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection.

In the ongoing dance of the oriental love affair, Shanghai Tang evokes Chinese inspired style with Western modernity. The Spring / Summer 2010 “Love Restraint” collection is inspired by three themes: Chinese Shan Shui paintings of majestic mountains, nostalgic era of Hong Kong in the 1960’s, and the art of Peranakan ceramics.
The campaign was shot by rising Spanish photographer Richard Ramos and features Chinese supermodel Sun Fei Fei and Japanese director, Takashi Watanabe.

Shanghai Tang’s new ad campaign perfectly embodies the love restraint theme it is based on. Famous fashion photographer Richard Ramos succeeds in capturing the intensity of these two emotions through Chinese supermodel Sun Fei Fei and rising male model Takashi Watanabe, while still showing the clothes off to perfection against a most romantic backdrop.

Two of the most iconic Chinese names of our time come together.

Best known as one of China’s most famous classical pianists, Lang Lang , has branched out to team up with international Chinese brand Shanghai Tang to design a unique Chinese silk scarf.
