Korean art has been making waves on the international scene lately. Fresh from their recent exhibition at the Hong Kong Art Fair in May, the Korean contemporary art exhibition at Times Square features two of Korea’s leading contemporary artists, Ji Yong Ho and Yi Hwan Kwo, to showcase their latest sculptures at Times Square Open Piazza and Atrium from now till August 22, 2010.

Yves Saint Laurent Opens New Opium Concept Store in Hong Kong

These shelves will be full of YSL goods on opening day: March 25.

Yves Saint Laurent is opening the first new concept store in Hong Kong at  Times Square, Causeway Bay. The store will carry the Yves Saint Laurent accessories line for men and women, including handbags, small leather goods, sunglasses and jewellery.

Stefano Pilati creative director of YSL designed the store with famous architect Alan Moatti and Henri Riviere. The result is a lighter, fresh modern take on the house of YSL, featuring the signature opium red of its namesake.

To celebrate the opening of the store, YSL has designed a special limited edition T-shirt which comes with a leather bracelet stamped with  ‘Times Square’ to mark the location and significance of the occasion. This commemorative limited edition gift box set is available for sale at HK$1950 from 11am onwards on March 25.  As they are only making 105 set available, you have to be quick to pick one up.
