‘Pashmy‘ is a short film about 6 minutes long, written and directed by Dennis Hopper starring Gwyneth Paltrow and the Pashmy bag. Worldwide preview of the short film screened last week for special guests of Diego Della Valle, President of the Tod’s Group’s, Gwyneth and Dennis Hopper’s in a dinner party in Milan.

Pumps and ankle boots are going to be hot this fall.
At long last, comfortable fashionable shoes are in vogue. We’ve seen quite a few great looking pumps and ankle boots from many of the designers this fall.
Tod’s just announced that their autumn/winter pumps and ankle boots are in store. Not one to skim on luxury, Tod’s fall high heel pumps come in exotic ostrich and crocodile skin. You can even get the ankle boots with fur trims to add that bit of glamour to your strut.
The all-time favorite “doctors” bag gets a Tod’s make-over.
Tod’s Autumn Winter collection will be Derek Lam’s 3rd collection since he took up the helm at Tod’s, as Creative Director last summer.
Tod’s have expertly transformed the doctor’s bag into one of this season’s top bags to covet. The new shape and expert saddlery craftsmanship complete with brass metal details on the soft nappa leather model (in Kenya brown colour) makes the Dok bag a potential classic for the brand.
Tod’s jumps into online video with Paltrow & Dennis Hopper.
Tod’s is also casting its brand online with Iron Man’s girlfriend Gwyenth Paltrow in a short film directed by no-less than Dennis Hopper entitled “Pashmy,” and of course that is the name of the bag that Tod’s is promoting.
The short sees Paltrow being interviewed by a handsome journalist played by Italian actor Daniele Savoca. During their interview, the paparazzi finds them and Paltrow flees, accidentally leaving behind her “Pashmy” bag while trying to escape. The journalist sets off to find her in an attempt to reunite Paltrow with her “Pashmy” and eventually tracks her down at a glamorous ball, just outside Rome. “Cinderella had her shoe,” says Hopper, “Gwyneth has her Tod’s bag.”
The film will be coming online soon, in September during Milan Fashion Week, but if you go to Tods.com now you can watch a behind-the-scenes video on the making of the film with quick cuts and biting electric guitar score. Will it be just a long commercial or will it have a real narrative? With Hopper in charge, it should at least be something to pay attention to.
