Yves Saint Laurent’s Fall/ Winter 2010 ad campaign is out. Stefano Pilati, creative director for the brand, has called on the talents of photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin to shoot the campaign. These series of ads stars classically beautiful Canadian/Ukrainian model Daria Werbowy in striking strong poses inside the Hôtel de Clermont-Tonnerre, the Parisian headquarters of Artemis, and holding company for Yves Saint Laurent parent PPR.

YSL Ombres 5 Lumieres N5 in Alice in Wonderland

The Red Queen’s Eye make-up were bluer than blue thanks to YSL Ombres 5 Lumieres N5.

Chief make-up artist for the movie, Valli O’Reilly , was not shy about the look he gave the Red Queen in the feature film, “Alice in Wonderland”. Not only did she stand out with her fiery hair, her very wide forehead and weirdly-shaped eyebrows, but her eyes looked bluer than blue as well.

O’Reilly credits the YSL Ombres 5 Lumieres in N5 for the Red Queen’s Standout look. YSL can really be commended for their shadow’s high quality. All the colors come out really pigmented, which is vital for strong, specific and intricate film make-up.
